......well actually it's kinda grotty in places, but OH WELL. I went there today, and it was great! My dad and I went to see the Tutenkahmun exibition at the O2 (formerly the Millenium Dome). It was pretty cool, and ya know what? Tut had a broken knee, so it's speculated that he could have died of that.
After that we went to the Royal Observatory and saw all of John Harrison's clocks (he invented clocks that could be used at sea:
[link]), and I stood over the Meridian Line. Standing in two fdifferent time zones made my feet feel tingly.
After that we wandered around, went into a dance academy (my Dad was interested in the building 'cause it was 1930's style, and apperently it used to be the Greenwich Town Hall. But whatever,) and then we got lost, and coming around on a train, got caught in the rush hour. After that we wandered around some more, looked at the Royal Festival Hall (I sang there in Y6
), and then when into a music and DVD store, where I bought an Andrew Llloyd Webber Box set.
Aaand then we came home. It was a fun day.
But now I'm tired, so I'll go to bed. Or a least post this journal entry before kittening off to
